Geli K. Campbell, B.P.A., M.S. in Strategic Communications

It’s safe to say Geli Campbell has earned her stripes. Though she has more than 20 years of experience working on the world’s top brands, social advocacy issues and technology providers, it’s Geli’s personal history that inspires her present role as Digital Media Marketing Strategist at a leading Advertising Agency in South Florida with an international clientele that ranges from consumer goods to iconic global hospitality brands.

Hard work is Geli’s engine and curiosity is its fuel. Her first job was at MEE Productions, where hard work meant getting in a bit early and often staying a little late. Those extra hours proved fortuitous for her, allowing her to become an integral part of marketing campaigns that were proven to have changed awareness and behaviors in areas of public health, specifically with HIV/AIDS and teen pregnancy. There, Geli’s curiosity kicked into high gear, and she learned how stories were developed and, in a larger sense, how perceived connectivity impacted willingness to act. This intimate exposure ignited her interest in the marketing and advertising industry, and she hasn’t looked back since.

With a desire to learn and do more, Geli’s insatiable curiosity led her to marry her newfound love of advertising and media with her interest in computer science and communication. This proved to be the perfect match. The South Florida native received her Bachelors in Public Administration and Masters of Science in Strategic Communication from Florida International University (Magna Cum Laude), with a specific focus on the changing digital world.

As the world went digital, Geli followed her curiosity to Redline Media Group where she leads the charge for innovation and strategy in the “Wild West” of digital media and advertising. She brings her invaluable international marketing experience to help brands craft and execute effective campaigns that challenge the status quo, while yielding results.

Now, Geli believes, the media and advertising industry is craving another story – and she wants to help write it.  With challenge comes opportunity, and the marriage of art and science in persuasive storytelling holds rich rewards for consumers, brands and publishers alike. Geli works to inspire wonder and curiosity, which have guided her throughout her career, and to retain a sense of fearlessness. When she’s not at work, Geli is a proud mother, who met her husband when they were both in high school marching band. She enjoys cooking, dancing, playing the piano and singing Motown hits as she drives.
